Apparently "Beverly" was named after one of Coca-Cola's founders ex-girlfriend who was so bitter that he named a drink after her so people could taste the characteristics and know exactly how she was as a person just by drinking it

When I was a kid my stepdad would always tell us that Beverly was the best drink ever made. When we finally went to the Coca Cola factory and tasted it we all almost died. We took the biggest gulps of it 😩, and he just sat there laughing the whole time. That was the day I lost all trust in him. He thought of that prank years in advance. 😤 I’m still salty about it. 🙂

I remember visiting the coke factory as a kid and they hyped up the Beverly so much. They were like "you have to try it!" Me and my little sister were so excited when the time finally came. We filled the cup and took big gulps. Needless to say we rushed to spit it out.Damn coke employees must get a big laugh out of it every time😂
