We used to go into the draft with tons of needs and we couldn’t even get those picks right most of the time. Now we can be like the eagles and chiefs who have good rosters and talented players fall into their lap every year.

You pay scouts for a reason. The picks are about fit and development. Hall is 20. He is a one gap, three tech guy. Zinter is a pro style type guy who has a pro style profile as a Big Ten guy.

If it weren't for injuries he would have went in the late first or mid second round.

I said all along they were drafting a guard in the 2nd or 3rd. I liked this draft so far because it's depth and future planning. It took this franchise a long time before they could start drafting BPA and for the future. The days of asking a 5th rounder to be a big time contributor is over. Both these picks aren't just draft and stash, they have a chance to carve out a role early, even if it's limited snaps.

I really like this pick . A huge guard lining up beside a massive tackle … by next year I feel Zinter might be starting … teller will play his last year in Cleveland , and I see him being traded in the off season .

I love teller / but I don’t see them keeping both Bitonio and teller after this season. For all we know. Bitonio might be done after this year

Everybody knows what its like having respectable skill positions with a poor offensive line.
The good teams, Ravens, Steelers, etc, are always restocking the OL, even when starter isnt a need.
Browns have a good OL right now, bit you have to keep the pipeline running.
Zinter was a unanimous first team all america RG. That means on the field, noone was better than him. Not just draft eligible players, but any gollege player. Zinter was the best. And we got him in the 3rd round.

This is the way you do it in the 2nd and 3rd round. You can still hit on top prospects at non-premium positions. My guess is that the Browns go after a LT next year when they have a first round pick.

My hope for the O-line is they give Jed a shot at RT and Dawand a shot at LT. Maybe Jeds muscle memory kicks back in on the right.

I liked the Micheal hall pick for multiple reasons, traits are there Schwartz can coach up d line players giving him a young and raw player who has the traits to be good excited me

I really am not mad about the people we’ve chosen in this draft but i really did want to get Troy Franklin so big and seeing up pass up on him during the 3rd hurt me I think he would’ve done very well with our receiver core

Jones was so solid his rookie year. They had him ranked in the top 5 in the draft if they would have done a redraft.

I don't get the Teller thing he was the healthy on the offense line this year and we give Jack Conklin a new deal he haven't played a hole season in how many years

Good point about not having to worry about the draft, I agree we are there and that is a good thing. Lets just hope that everyone comes off their injuries and performs well, and that's still a ask. but it's a way better ask then hoping for draft picks to fix the team, which we're not asking.
