When it comes to dealing with poop in cloth diapers, there are a few simple steps to follow. First, if your baby is exclusively breastfed, you can toss the dirty cloth diaper directly into the laundry without any pre-treatment, as breastfed baby poop is water-soluble. For formula-fed or solid-fed babies, it's recommended to shake off any excess poop into the toilet before rinsing the cloth diaper in the sink or using a diaper sprayer attached to the toilet to remove the remaining solids. Once rinsed, you can toss the cloth diaper into a designated diaper pail until laundry day. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after handling dirty cloth diapers to maintain hygiene. Dealing with poop in cloth diapers may seem daunting at first, but with a simple routine in place, it becomes just another part of the diapering process.

Ya but those disposable diaper liners (even made out of corn etc ) are still very toxic by genital area + for soil because of how it is processed

I tried cloth diapering with one of my children I spend 200$ in cloth diapers, and we did it for about 2 month. I found that the laundry never really got the sewagey smell out of the diapers if I “left them in the bag until wash day” and I would try not to go any longer than 3 days without washing them. I ended up feeling like I needed to stop and hand wash each diaper by hand after they were used and that turned out to be super inconvenient! My kid would pee through those cloth inserts within a hr so I felt the need to stuff the diaper with multiple at a time just to make the diaper effective. Long story short I was defeated and went back to my tried and true higgies. I am pregnant again and really love the idea of cloth diapering, but I hesitate to try it again. Can anyone tell me what I was missing?

I'm not sure if making this short was the best idea of the real deal - thing is, I'm so not afraid of dealing with poo after what I know it's most real ! 😑 the benefits outweigh all the kinds of situations along this journey:) TY so much though:))
