Thanks for leaving the random joystick rant in the video, Jim. I miss the banter when I fail to catch the live show, so I appreciate it very much when you leave some of it on the edited version!

Actually Hellbender was a sequel to Fury3, which Microsoft had commissioned to Terminal Reality after the original Terminal Velocity published by 3D Realms. I think.

Oh god! I had that Saitek Joystick once! It sorta worked but that thing did not hold center very well. I'd go for Thrustmaster Joysticks instead - even the cheapest ones hold center perfectly even after years and are pretty precise as well.

I found a video of 4 way SLI with GTX 980s. Do you have one with 4 GTX 980Ti?

PC per has to have more regular shows regardless of issues because without regular podcast people tend to drift. I like PC per and don't want to see it go the way of the Edsel.

Mark Hibben and Wiggins over at Seeking Alpha must be very salty at the
progress AMD has accomplished over Intel, AMD Stock price 69.40 USD!

Gamersnexus is reporting the 12pin connector as genuine (at least for the OEM/SI market) and clams to have known about it for some time....

I really like the idea of that Corsair launcher but obviously it is hideously overpriced and far too small. Just weak overall but the principle I love. So it got me thinking about androis screens no longer used. Could you turn a phone or tablet into an elgato like device? Well it turns out you can with software called

Touch Portal

But there are major caveats. Its free but the free version limits you to just six icons on screen. The full $14ish dollar app lets you have over a hundred on multiple pages with much more customization. So I popped it on my modern phone and it works great! not wanting to dedicate my main phone to a launcher I pulled out my long retired Kindle Fire 8.9 and oh here is where the rabbit hole opened up and swallowed me. 2 hours later I've failed to put the playstore onto it, failed to sideload the app and I've given up. Damn shame as that would have been an ideal size.

Anyway if you have an android tablet or old phone that has android 4.4 or greater and its not amazons you should be OK. Great software, far too complicated for what it is but its powerful! I just love the massive templates you can download for free like the cinema 4D one that gives you all the shortcuts, a hundredish in one page you can use to drag and drop and create a launcher that'll be super helpful while dabbling in 3D an animation. There's templates for video editors and such too as well as the obvious streaming OBS like stuff.

If anyone knows of any better software please tell me. Don't take my advice here as anything other than a random idiot went hunting on web for stuff. I now have the bug, I'm driven to create some kind of shortcut launching paradise. Browsing for interesting screens now. Probably not OLED as that'll burn leaving it running 24/7 but something with a decent resolution to hold detailed icon definition and I'd like text under every icon because I'm not smart enough to remember hundreds of pictures and associate them with functions in real-time heh

The so-called experts say Intel/AMD are screwed along with MSFT since Apple is going custom ARM. Data centers are Intel cash-cow. Can they improve X86 chips to beat ARM ???

How fast till iCue just forgets that neat new screen exists at all like it does for mice and keyboards. Never getting another Corsair product... Almost $200 worth of stuff nearly useless; mouse wheel died in 3 or so years and iCue lost the whole keyboard in about the same time, so no colors, no profiles...neat.

No, the biggest game I've seen so far is DCS with a whopping 252 gigs. AAA games easily go to the first 100 gigs. Pfff ten disks, how about 25 disks? Edit: 33:00
