Whilst I think this is the ultimate goal & would be fantastic - I have been hearing this exact thing for the last 30 odd
I'd be thinking it's much more realistic to think maybe, a huge maybe at that, sometime in the next 50 years....😢

Lots of support from the HSV community over here. Just wanted to ask what do they mean by functional cure? Does that mean that an infected person would still have HIV but somehow test negative without ART? Isn’t that the same as a sterilising cure essentially?
