"Bella's dad, a computer programmer, connected her to a factory in Hangzhou, China, through a former client of his" thats all the information you need to know on how she got started. Connection is fundamental.

I’m actually more impressed by her communication skills. Just 17 and already so articulate.

Interview the parents, it’s clear this young girl has been taught so much from a young age

Her parents are the way parents should be. They are not tossing her out at 18, they are supporting her while she stays with them and I am sure she will go on her own once she feels stable enough.

People laughed at me because I stayed with my parents until I was 30. I helped them with bills, but they were very supportive of me.

Now those friends that laughed at me and just had to move out at 18 are struggling to pay rent, while I own a home.

She's a product of good parenting. Good job to her parents, and she now makes them proud as well!

$186k in Amazon fees and she’s only netting 103k! Amazon should be ashamed!

As a nurse, I thought I have seen how mean and cruel our society has become. Then I read the comments section on CNBC. Goodness. She’s 17. Even if her Father helped her with a connection, she came up with the idea. She puts in the equivalent of a part time job while going to school full time. She obviously got good grades in high school since she got a scholarship. Too many of us can not be happy…even for a child. Bella, it takes all kinds to make the world go round. I had gerbils growing up. I would have loved something like this growing up for them rather than a cage or rolling ball.

America probably has the largest pet market. Only there can you make such money by selling pet accessories. Truly the land of opportunities, if you have a good idea and are prepared to work hard.

The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

Hey, this is great video!! I am student, and my favorite side hustle right now is dropshipping. It's getting easier day by day because we now have access to some really powerful tools (I love using a bit of winnerzila for example. They have huge amount of winning products, along with photos, descriptions, gifs, etc...). I have been using it for seven months already, and last month I have made about 13000$, pure profit. Of course, first few months were tough until you see how business flows.

I screamed when she said wasn't paying herself. When it gets popular enough, your annual profits would start dwindling cuz of Ali-express and the Chinese knockoff's. If she's reading this: PUT AWAY SOME PROFITS. I get that you're comfortable right now, but think long term. Whether it's buying $15K in government bonds or locking $10K in the S&P 500, just put money somewhere you can't be tempted to spend it.

That factory connection in China is HUGE because who knows where the business would have gone if she didn't have that.

She's doing great but from a business perspective - she should be paying herself- even if it's a modest $400/week. Just because you don't need it now, doesn't mean you won't need it later! Secondly Guinea Loft is a GREAT name and should work on moving away from Amazon to D2C sales. This will lower the current 49% Amazon is taking from your revenue . You can also you could be in a great position to move into in-store sales.

Very misleading saying she brings in $400K a year. That’s revenue not net income.

This is a quintessential example of solving a problem in an underserved niche market.
