Holiday Inn Express Hotel Frankfurt Airport Moerfelden

Показать описание
Our favorite flight home from Frankfurt-Chicago on United Airlines leaves at 8:10a, making it almost impossible to connect to or from somewhere that early; requiring...an overnight near the Frankfurt Airport. I try to choose the least expensive hotel rate that includes breakfast, has a shuttle bus, and the Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt Airport Moerfelden fills the bill.
The Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt Airport offers free Wi-Fi in lobby only, adequate rooms and large buffet breakfast which begins at 5:45a. However, it does not have an on-site restaurant. Guests can walk a few minutes away to a German or Italian Restaurant for dinner.
Steve and I sat down at the German Restaurant but when staff refused to serve ordinary tap water, we walked out and into Ristorante Tommasi to ask if they would serve tap water. Refusing to serve potable tap water when available happens to be our particular "red flag" and this was not the first restaurant we've walked out of. We once stayed at a 3-star hotel in Bellagio, Italy who shall remain nameless, and drank the hotel's potable tap water daily. But their expensive dinner restaurant refused to serve tap water when asked and said, "Senor, the water isn't safe to drink." Huh? After Hotel Reception said the water we had been drinking for 7 days was was drinkable?
