Single Stop Food Distribution Sept. 2018 event

Miami Dade College Medical Campus, and its Community of Interest Single Stop partnered with the local Farm Share to host a food distribution event. Farm Share is a charitable large-scale food bank working to provide services to end hunger, malnutrition and food insecurities. The food distribution event took place on September 26,2018, at the Medical Campus. Miami Dade College Medical Campus was able to offer fresh foods, poultry, and milk to individuals that attended. The goal of the event was to provide food to the student body and the community, free of charge. Medical Campus Single Stop food distribution event provided food for 502 families. Several of Miami Dade College Medical Campus faculty, staff and students volunteered to assist in the success of the event.
