Hey I just watched this video thanks for sharing. I have a rheem furnace, the flame sensor and the igniter are attached together on mine, but I also have a pilot light that stays on. If my pilot light is on but the furnace doesn’t come on do you think I should change the flame sensor?

Are those tubes with the slits replaceable? I have an older Ruud 90+ furnace, as, as your referenced, many of the slots are gone, and it is just open. The furnace runs and heats fine.

Good video.. I know it has been on You tube a long time and I have watched it before. As a Service Tech  for a large gas utility for 36 years I must ask::What the heck kind of gas connector is that ?? I know that was natural gas because of the color of the flame. In Southern California I never saw anything like that. In fact the code calls for a solid nipple to extend outside of the furnace case and the entire flexible connector to be outside the case. Is that true where you are at ??
