Hot June Sunday. Small white wooden church in a community now gone. Windows thrown wide begging for the hint of a breeze. The voices of the faithful raised in worship nearly drowning out the badly out of tune upright piano. We swore we'd grow up and get away. We didn't know how blessed we were. Now I'd give anything to be back.
