As a software developer, I’m problem solving all day. Nothing is more relaxing at the end of the day than being spoon fed instructions! Plus building sets with my wife is good for the ol’ marriage!

People love the “money doesn’t buy happiness”. But lego really does bring some people a lot of positivity.

I was so happy to listen to this yesterday. I will be 73 in May, and got interested in Legos when the "pandemic" started. You are so right in everything you have said. Building legos has really helped me considering all the points you mentioned. I watch your channel everyday which has been very helpful in my building technics. You are so kind and positive. Continued success to you and your wife.

Lego is one of rare things in today life that is very much disconnected from “Digital World”. I think as human beings we need some physical items to rely on.
…And this is a great fun as well!
Stay calm and keep collecting (c)

I actually do agree with the psychological health. For me, it helps me focus since my brain runs in a lot of different directions so when I build a set, it helps me focus on what I'm doing at that particular time. Also personally for my piece of mind, since I can't draw or do other forms of art, I treat building LEGO as art. For example, I stick to the ideas sets that interest me as well as the architecture skylines as the skylines help me feel like I'm traveling around the world without spending mass amounts of money to do so. As always, great informative video Bricksie. One of the best feelings is when I walk into the LEGO store and the staff are so friendly and take the time to talk to me about certain sets and things I see around the store.👍

I completely agree with the first point. When I got my Pick Up Truck, I too had a busy couple of days at work, so I decided since it was too adorable not to buy and I had some free time that week to use that time to build Lego

My only regret is I started too late. I would have loved to have a Parisian Restaurant or Tower Bridge. I could still get them, but they are crazy expensive

I didn’t know it was ok to buy LEGO now as an adult until I clicked on your channel. I just thought it was just for kids/children. I didn’t know we too as adults can express our kid self once again. Thank you for help normalizing this for adults.

I'm 61 and started building Lego in late 2020. My 27 yr old daughter is building too. We shop Lego and get Starbucks. It's our thing. It's a joy for both of us. She is content to chill and build Lego in her apartment with the dog on a Saturday night. I'm over here doing the same. Adding a glass of wine is a kick too! Thanks Bricksie! I've followed you from the beginning of this brick journey. You and Jose (sorry sp) are great!👍👍👍👍👍💝

Once again another amazing video and the perfect topic. As you stated I started back into lego for my 74 year old mother. We had tremendous loss last year to two family members. I started back into lego as a way for her to get her mind preoccupied on other things. And wow it worked. She loves building lego kits now. It also does everything you mentioned in your video for her. Again great content Bricksie. You have a subscriber and viewer for the life of your channel sir. Also I praise lego for the amazing kits they put out.

Love this!

We took our Autistic 5 Year old to an aviation museum and we happen to buy a Lego X-wing ($20 one) for our son rather than some toy plane, as he already has a few. We thought we'd give him a chance at building. He loved it! Now we build sets together, last one being the At-At 40th anniversary one. It's incredible the patience, fine motor skills, following directions, sense of accomplishment/confidence, determination, and time away from TV that this Lego hobby has helped grow!
It truly is a great way to decompress and create positive neuropathy connection.. I'm sure this will help myself also with keeping brain sharp in my old age. (I'm only 40 now)

My wife and I even purchased the Typewriter and have a date night planned soon! Wine for her, THC for me, and Lego build for both of us!
Thanks for this vid..it truly is a great hobby.

I’m 24 and recently picked Lego back up. I’m new to the working world and got promoted to a better position at my company, it feels great to be recognized! But my gosh the stress and pressure is intense sometimes, and I get so in my head since a lot of my peers are now sometimes twice my age. Around the summer of last year I was at Walmart getting groceries and passed the Lego section. I honestly felt a little embarrassed even checking them out. I pushed those thoughts aside and came home with the AT-AT and Slave one. Ever since then, I’ve always had at least one Lego set I’m in the process of building and I have to say, it’s an awesome hobby. I love just turning my brain off, not worrying about anything else other than having fun building something. It’s been truly therapeutic for me. I’m glad I found it as an adult and others just like me are too.

I'm 62 and have enjoyed Lego all my life. I have more Lego than space in my apartment and will be moving to a larger place, probably some time this summer. I think you nailed it for the reasons to collect Lego. I have also installed light kits to some of my Lego, which in itself is challenging.
I also started working with building sets called Nanobricks, micro versions of the Lego brick, which is quite a challenge at times. I always enjoyed your videos. I look forward to the Back to the Future DeLorean coming out next month. Thanks again, and keep building

I played with Lego as a child. In 2016 I got back into Lego as a 61 year old adult for most all the reasons you mentioned in this video. It has been so much fun for me. My biggest challenge was the Millennium falcon USC set. It was awesome fun to build. Watching you and Mrs. Bricksie build Lego’s and see how you have built and an reorganize and improve your City has help me especially during the pandemic. I have gotten my Grandchildren into Lego too. Thank you for this video and just being there for me and everyone else who watch you. Bless you both and your fur babies. Love seeing them in your videos.

Really wish there was an official LEGO stores here in Ukraine, 'cause our stores raise prices up to the sky and have unfair loyalty programs than official one. I'm still collecting it, but always looking for sales, 'cause even on sales it doesn't always cost less, than $0.10 per piece. Also, really love point about relationship. We've built a few large sets with my girlfriend previous summer on beach and it was one of the greatest experience

Lego is the best. I build with my wife and daughter. So fun. Stress relief. Time away from screens.
