Can you make the clock smaller… idk if it’s just me but it looks like they made it bigger and I hate it

This new iOS 16 on the time is just to big, I tried changing it but it only changes my wallpaper, this sucks. The time is way to big and I hate it, is there a way to make the time smaller without changing the wallpaper?? Or heck just take it back the old ios, hello Apple!!!

Yeah I want to make the clock display smaller, to me it’s too big in ios16 and that should have a resize option for such also

For those of you looking to do this, while keeping your current background pic:
1. Press and hold on Lock Screen (as seen in this vid)
2. Click customize
3. Click “add new”
4. Add pic for your background
5. On the new pic, you can then click on the clock to adjust setting as he does in this video
6. You can now toggle between home screens. So you won’t lose your original background pic. But the new clock settings will only be on your new background

I hate the large font. yes you can make it thinner but why not smaller as well. it sucks

So just updated to 16.02…. Is there a way to keep my old photo screen and do this? Don’t actually have the pic on my phone for my Lock Screen anymore and when i bring up that change menu and click the photo it makes me add new when you click customize…. I can still use the old paper but the time is bolded now and i hate it.

The title is misleading. iOS 16 does not allow you to change the clock on your existing lock screen. You will need to create a new lock screen to change the font. Apple have effectively enforced the font change and prevented you from editing your existing lock screen. I've had enough of Apple's big brother attitude.

This video needs an update. The customisation menu is completely different to this in the release build. None of it is relevant.

I want to make the clock display smaller. But I have a photo uploaded from the web as my lockscreen. It’s not looking like it’s going to let me make the clock display smaller unless I use a picture that wasn’t uploaded from online. 😠😠
