I felt that way with the pill. I was on it for 4 years. I'm nearly 22 years old and I started going on birth control when I was 17 but fortunately the good thing is we have options. In August last year so about 8 months ago I changed to an IUD and I LOVE IT! I got the Mirena IUD and it is the best but they also have a copper non-hormonal version called the Paragard. My boyfriend and I have just had our 2 years together and we're still figuring life out but we definitely don't see ourselves having kids within the next 5 years. I work almost full-time and want to go do a diploma at tafe and my boyfriend is in his 3rd year at uni and working part-time and after covid we want to travel quite a bit so kids aren't on our agenda atm.
