Why do you delete the files off the PFD card ? Also, why removing the 510 in the MFD ? Also, since the avionics stores the database and not reading it from the card, why removing the card after the update instead of leaving it and take the other one with you for the next update ? First step in the airplane can be done with only with BAT1 ON (so without BAT2). Safes battery power.
