Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), also called sensory integration dysfunction, is a neurological difference characterized by either a hypersensitivity (over-responsiveness) or hyposensitivity (under-responsiveness) to one’s surroundings due to the brain’s inability to properly integrate multi-sensory input. In this short video, we discuss some of the signs and symptoms of Sensory Processing Disorder specifically in these 2 types of reaction in order to help parents and caregivers better identify it in their children.

Think i got this, i have a need to touch certain textures sometimes despite i hate it, socks inside out, no tags on shirts, love many foods but cant eat them because of the texture, also need to make things even like if i get scratched i need to scratch the other side of my body, etc etc

I use to have a sensory issue when I was younger as cloths with tags would make me itchy and crowded areas with alot of stimulation would he too much for me to handle . Luckily I grow out of it.

Can someone help me? I'm not sure if I have SPD but what happens is that I hate certain textures such as goosebumps and they make me very disgusted and I scratch that texture. So say if I was to touch goosebumps then I would scratch at them. I would also hate other textures.

THIS COULD ALSO BE NON BEHAVIORAL>>>CALLED ATLAS SUBLUXATION Which compresses the brainstem. Try Atlas orthogonal to rule this out. My son had this but was labeled ADHD AND AUTISTIC
