Steven Gerrard hits out at Chelsea fans after receiving a standing ovation

After the Chelsea fans gave Steven Gerrard a standing ovation, the Liverpool captain was quick to fire out at them after receiving abuse throughout the game.

Gerrard was a bit salty there. I don't see John Terry getting mad, JT gets booed at every club game when he gets the ball and we know why. Liverpool fans get mad at "Slippy G" chants but they chant about United's "Munich Disaster" and Lampard's mom's death, Terry's CL Final slip. Have you ever seen John Terry getting applauded by any clubs fans? Gerrard got the whole Stamford Bridge applauding him. At least Gerrard should've acknowledged that we Chelsea fans respect him as a player and a legend of football, point blank. The actions of a few Chelsea fans doesn't define a club. He kinda generalised us. We gave you a standing ovation. And you scored! So why is he still mad?

Just brilliant, people may draw attention to Ronaldo and Messi, but what they forget to notice is the contributions legends like Gerrard makes for their team! Farewell to a master of football. The man's a legend. He clearly loves his place and does not move around like some stupid fucks who want "be with the best" and win trophies. Winning is not everything. As Steven Gerrard said "It always means more when you win it for your people"
