Full build of Papadakis Racing's 1,000 hp Toyota 2AR engine -- shown in 1.5 minutes

Innovative engine builder and team owner Stephan Papadakis assembles the team's 1,000 hp Toyota 2AR engine from start to finish in this short video, beautifully shot and directed by automotive filmmaker DC Chavez.

The motor powers the team's 2015 Rockstar Energy Drink / Hankook Tire Scion tC, campaigned by Fredric Aasbo.

The 2AR-FE engine will be a great asset for drag racing. What kind of impressive records will a 2AR-FE powred RWD import race car will do!
Most TOYOTA enthusiasts left the 4 cylinder side of the story and jumped-in to the 2JZ-GTE 6 cylinder in line wagon, leaving just a few who still try 3S-GTE and heavy 3RZ-FE 4 cylinder engines. Yes they have run 6 seconds, but I think a well built 1, 200-1, 300 HP 2AR-FE will be more consistent and perhaps do better than the old 3S-GTE and 3RZ-FE.

This is a lot better and way more lighter, and a better option than a typical the all mighty 2JZ. A 2AR-FE 2.5L inline-4 Camry is a lot better choice.👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
