So, these instructions are pretty vague. Cohhs team have obviously done all the hard work creating the override packets for him and extracted the dazip files which we can’t get access to, not his fault as he stated the creators don’t want him to release them as a package, but without them, this video explaining how to do it is next to useless.


One final note is that for 2 of these mods this process doesn’t work. One of the mods is so big that the override packet creation just fails and crashes the mod manager. So you can just manually copy the extracted files directly into the dao packages/core/override folder bypassing the mod manager all together.

Another mod has its own custom installer where you have to manually execute it for each player character and choose which model you want.

The dwarf sections of this game in particular are amazing. The detail of how everything is carved out of stone, how the ceilings are built or carved. The underground road systems. A truly fantastic game.
