I was on Indigo's site a few weeks back and saw Beam paints for the first time, or at least it was the first time they stuck with me. They're not only Canadian, they're owned and run by indigenous women who hand curate all of the materials too! They had a pallette on sale for less than half the price but it looks like it's out of stock now unfortunately. If you want to check near you, it's the Mother Earth birch pallette.

I started watching this video while drifting in and out of sleep so I didn't notice the characters the first time. When I woke up and went to turn my phone back on, I was so excited to see Vi! I'm not big into LoL but I LOVED Arcane! I can't wait for season 2!

A friend recommended Arcane for it's look as well as the story, and I did enjoy the first episode a lot - must get round to watching more! I see what you mean about the robin - the blooms ended up looking like feathers, so that was a very happy accident. 😁

Yey! I love sketchbooks! I've also wanted to do a more flowy look with watercolors, It's freeing to let the water do its thing. I haven't seen Arcane yet, but I've played the game and it's nothing but salt lol. Great video and beautiful work by the way!

To me, the way you didn't render Jinx and Vi made it more like the art style when Jinx has her mental breakdowns. It fits the vibes of the show.

Jinx's villain arc was one of the best ones I've ever watched. It's so realistically shown with her monster thoughts. Plus the guilt that made her who she was and how she accepted that.

My favorite character gotta be Vi and Ekko.

I was the same way. No league of legends knowledge, but everyone was drawing the characters and raving about it so I was like…okay let me sit down and watch this haha. I would love to see Mel in your style. Her character design is just stunning to me. Especially all the gold 🤩
