I DESIGNED THESE BRUSHES! ✶ UNBOXING ✶ watercolor + gouache demos

I'm not sure it gets more exciting than this for a brush addict! I designed this custom gouache brush set in partnership with Craftamo and I'm so excited to finally show them! In this video I'll do an unboxing, show some juicy closeups, and then demo the brushes with watercolor and gouache. The official launch date is Dec. 30 and I'll do a live stream during the launch.

Arrived today (UK). Yay!!
The box and artwork is beautiful, and I adore the separate print which showcases textures in landscape Sarah has created with these brushes. Simply gorgeous.
Of course, the stars of the show are the brushes. Aesthetically beautiful dark turquoise handles with sizes clearly printed on the handle (you'd be surprised how many companies of coloured pencil brands use colours that are difficult to read!!) These brushes feel lovely in the hand and bristles/hairs or whatchamacallit, are firmer than my sable watercolour brushes... So I've clearly been using brushes inappropriate for gouache and making my life unnecessarily harder, lol.
The quality is superb... and the points... I reckon detail work will be a cinch even with the larger brushes. Beautifully manufactured with care. I'm even looking forward to playing with the 'rigger' which I think I'll be using a lot for detail and line work. I'm sooo excited to create 😁
So happy I lucked in and didn't miss the launch. Hope there is a second (third... Forth...ad infinitum) run of these brushes as they appear to cater for every gouache need.
