im a early bird but i also relate to that thing of being awake while everyone else sleeps, but instead of going to sleep rlly late i LOVE waking up ridiculously early!! i love how cool the weather is, how the sky changes as the sun gets higher and when it does, how colorful and and cheerful everything looks!
i just feel very fresh and energetic, because i can get ready for the day as slow as i like and still have free time before noon and a whole free afternoon (wich is usually when im most inspired, since i got my chores out of the way)
sadly, i have a lot of trouble sleeping and its really hard for me to wake up before, like, 2 pm. and i *hate* it, but ive been making a lot of effort over the last year and im able to wake up at 10! (i still feel like its rlly late but im just very proud fhdjhfsj)

I feel like most a LOT of artists are night owls... myself included! I love the feeling of getting lost in the paints without a distraction or care in the world...

I love the night time, it's when the world slows down and I can finally focus. Whether I'm writing or drawing or just playing video games, the night is best for me. I love your artwork as well as your relaxing videos, you make me wanna improve my painting skills 🖤

Yeah.. I notice that on myself. I tend to do my paintings at night than day.. Love your works..

I understand that but I am totally a morning person. Huge advantage of living in a village is the greenery, the fresh air, birds chirping, the cold wind flowing, the glow of the sunlight that just refreshes my mind. I am watercolor artist and only paint animals, birds and plants .I mostly paint between 3pm to 6-7pm as at that time I get to sit outside on the porch see the glowing colours on sky, birds taking bath at their water bath, and then best of all the magic of sunset which just calms my inner soul as it is just so peaceful to see the colors of sky shifting from blues to yellow then slowly to shades of pink, purple at bottom and blues above. As a graduating student I study from 7-9pm after the classes and from morning 9am till 3 or 5pm sometimes. Its just so peaceful to sleep at 10 pm and then wake at 6am to all the beauty of nature which otherwise would be neglected.

I live in Northern Alberta so the sun doesn't come up till 9 am & goes down at 3.30 in winter. I got to move way out to the country last spring & the nearest neighbor is a kilometer away. It gets so dark here we can see the milky way, & of course the Northern lights! But some winter nights the moon is almost bright as day. I'll literally go outside at 2 am in pj's, winter boots, & winter coat so I can take photos of the moon shadows through the big old willows. Or the moon sparkling off of the snow when the whole world is soft and quiet. And the 100 year old barn is wrapped in ice fog. Sometimes I feel like I've slipped into Narnia it's so magical here!

It's 3am right now and I'm drawing and listening to this 🌃 I remember my favorite time as a teenager was summer break when I would just stay up the whole night listening to audiobooks and drawing. I would go to my balcony when the birds started singing and watch the sunrise 🌄

I am also a night owl!! I love hearing this perspective because I always felt ashamed of being a night owl, It made me feel like i couldn't run on "the normal schedule" of working in the day. It made me feel so lazy compared to others :( Thank you for changing my mind! Love this piece as always!

True I´m a night owl myself, I love the night because is silent, fresh, theres no one talking or distracting me... So is perfect to create! Lonely nigth owls artist, lovers of the miracles of life .. We always find the wonders in everything and everywhere... :)

Personally I’m both an early bird & a night owl- which sucks. I absolutely love early mornings because of the crisp morning air, the beautiful sunrise, the birds chirping and also the feeling of having lots of time to get ready for the day & just the relief of not having to stress or feel like I’m falling behind, but then on the other hand I love being up extremely late at night because of the comfort of the dark, the quiet and knowing that you have no expectations, that this time is all yours, that everyone else is asleep & can’t tell you shit lmao. So, I switch between periods of waking up at 5 and periods of going to bed at 5 haha, gotta get the best of bost worlds

I love daytime! The sun brightens my mood, and I enjoy relaxing instead of working/painting in the evenings. I also really love the natural light in the day

when the humanity mindset noises slows down ...at night there is a silence . goes deeper than the silence of not having noise . that's the most beautiful time to take deep dives and creat :)

I personally prefer to paint at day time, mostly around noon. I think the reason for that is that I don't like to constantly paint with artificial lights, but rather prefer the nice soft natural light of a cloudy day. It just gives me the feeling as if art is my day job Haha

Thank you tor this. I’ve been trying to figure out why I haven’t been able to create anything for a while. I’ve been getting up super early and going to bed early. After 07:00pm is when I start to get energetically creative, but that’s usually when I’ve been forcing myself to wind down to get ready for bed... I’ve just managed to move my schedule around so that I can create from 07:00pm to about 11:00pm. Fingers crossed these hours will allow my creative spirit to flow.🌊 Thank you for the reminder lovely.🌚🖤✨

Early bird here! Same reasons as you listed, wake up to a quiet peaceful morning while everyone else is asleep. Feels like a headstart ahead of other people. Also because for me it's harder to stay awake when I should be asleep (circadian rhythm) than waking up with the sun, just feels more natural.
