“Emulsified Bedrock” Meshuggah-inspired Riffage over Roland MC-101 Drums #metal #djent Tech Death

I saw Meshuggah live last week and have had the polyrhythms stuck in my head ever since. For this partially improvised recording, I laid down 3 drum patterns on a Roland MC-101 record play over. The drums maintain a 4/4 foundation, while the guitar explores other rhythmic subdivisions and syncopations.
