Due to the fact that Player is a hacker while Error 404 is an Error. Player can’t be damaged due to the fact he has no soul. And technically only player can k!ll himself. If he isn’t within a timeline if a worldline then his power reach an unimaginable feat since he is a programming hacker. Error 494 has the power to control and manipulate reality as if it was just a program but weird because Error 404 exists in that so called “program”. So in a way Error 404 has full control over the program. And just like player he has only put a piece of his soul into the program which means his view of perspective vs Error 404’s view of perspective is the actual fight
