The sheer sandboxy nature of all these mechanics on top of everything else is impressive. You can always find people doing things in way you haven't even dreamed of

The camp supplies “trick” is so good to know. Honestly all supplies should go straight to camp when you pick them up

Shove is a bonus attack and help is an action, so knowing shove will wake up teammates is valuable.

I need to try the backpack bomb. Amazing. I absolutely love this game.

One tip I found today, if you find a chest that's too hard to lockpick or break open, find a tall cliff and throw it down.

you can also throw healing potions at allies in the downed state to pick them back up while also healing them
Edit: try and let the splash hit them and not your ally directly as it does count as attacking them

A tip I found: if you have prepared spellcasters in your party, you can swap their spells any time you're not in combat by selecting them and pressing the K button. I never saw this tip in the game and honestly didn't think to check the keybinds for something like that. A friend I've been chatting with while we both play mentioned that and it changed the way I play.

My favorite trick is to try to walk away from a close enemy in combat so they club you in the back of the head. I do that a lot. Highly recommend! 👍

A quick tip: You can shoot the "hinge" of chandeliers in most ceilings forcing the chandelier to fall down on enemies below. And using the "tactical" view (O) will let you see exactly where it is going to fall.

Additional tip about sending supplies directly to your camp: if you put a camp supplies backpack into the traveler's chest, the supplies you send to camp will automatically go into that bag.

I had no idea you could destroy ladders. I also never knew blood could be frozen. I admittedly haven’t played any of the recent vaunted cRPG games, but this game has the deepest combat of any RPG I’ve played.

Also if you use "magic hand" through gates you can use it to manipulate buttons and levers

It really incredible that in all the time ive put into bg3 so far I havent come across something that HASNT been possible when i tried it, which really goes to show just how much effort and understanding Larian put into the game to give it that freeform dnd feel.

For the "blood outs out fire" tip, what's actually happening is only one surface can be on the same spot at once. So the blood surface is actually overriding the fire surface. One useful application of this is if the enemy casts web and you have create water you can "wash away" the web surface

Great list!
Another thing I figured out is that if you left click on an equipment slot in the character menu it will bring up all the equipment that fit that slot and you can compare to what you have easily and switch it out. It even includes items equipped by others and tells who they are equipped by.

You can range attack onto levers to trigger them.

34: You might want to destroy traps with a ranged weapon/cantrip instead of disarming them (thou they have to be discovered first)

It brings tears to my eyes knowing how much effort was put into this game.

There are several containers that can be used for storage that have unique icons that are helpful when keeping things organized. Some examples:
- Near the start of the game you can get a "bucket of fish" on the docks
- the area where you meet the gnolls or the paladins of tyr you can get a rib cage
- there are two different kinds of pouch icons, and three different kinds of backpack icons that I found so far
- there's a book that acts as a container that can be found at the blighted village. At x:0 y:451 in a mysterious hole

These are just a few that I found and they all weigh the same as a pouch unlike chests or barrels

200 hours in Early Access, and a lot of this stuff was still news to me. I have been playing this game in such a "vanilla" style 😉

The eureka moment when I sent my familiar through an iron barred gate.... years of playing games has taught me to think a certain way... and Larian really applied real life logic to so much of the game.

When you play BG3, you will constantly be saying "wait, you can do that???" And guess how they came up with most of these ideas? They played their own game and thought "you know what would be cool?" And then did just that. I respect Larian more than any other studio now.
