God was on our side, i remember watching this game when i was just 8yrs old . The joy i had after that last penalty kick by stopilla Nsunzu.
Winning the 2012 AFCON was a moment of relief and it soothed our pain, for when the entire motherland was still bleeding profusely from the terrible and devastating deaths of our previous national team.
This moment will forever be in our hearts. Until now, we are still mourning that loss. It will forever be the most tragic incident in the history of Zambia

This is the AFCON that will forever remain in my heart because I watched It from preparations to the final itself against Ivory Coast. I clearly remember every game like it was yesterday. Thank you to God above and His Son Jesus Christ who gave that Victory Zambia's Chipolopolo against all Odds.
