GDQ Hotfix presents: Spyro Reignited Trilogy early release race!

The GDQ HOTFIX is a series on Twitch.TV spotlighting exciting speedrunning races, tournaments, events and more! This edition of the Hotfix is Spyro Reignited Trilogy early release race, aired on November 11, 2018.

Welcome to Spryo Reignited Trilogy! SRT is coming out on Tuesday, November 13th and we have been provided with some early release keys to put on a speedrun demonstration thanks to Activision! 2 of the top runners from the original Spyro games, ChrisLBC and AlexDest, will be racing against each other in all 3 games! We will take a short break in between each game to allow the racers and commentators some time to breathe.

Funny coincidence. Just the other day I tried playing Spyro 2 Reignited and ran into that same Ocean Speedway bug and then YouTube recommended me this video. i guess it's a common problem.

Watching this makes me wonder what the controls are like, especially when Chris kept falling into the water in Beastmakers. I can't really say anything as I am horrendous, I'm just used to seeing speedrunners be very tight and precise.

I hope they can patch the loading times to be shorter. Otherwise this looks like a great speedgame.

@1:01:00 Alex goes for that jump by going off different ramps. You can go off the first and cut hard right to land on the final ramp and launch to that dragon.

I never played the original trilogy unfortunately I was too young at the time to effectively play them, but I had one of the ds games which I loved and this speed run makes me want to play reignited

I never had a problem with the trolley, I don't get what all the fuss is about.
