My new cheap and cheerful fishing bivvy.

I was not expecting very much for the price, but I am very surprised at how good it actually is.

Bought this bivvy because of this review and I'm well pleased! Just done a week in France and had plenty of room with a weeks worth of gear!! Used all the features, obviously rod straps but also as the weather was so variable I used different configurations of front, side doors mesh plastic no front etc

The only thing I would say is during heavy rain the winter skin was needed for extra protection as I was getting some moisture if I was to touch the skin!

Cracking bivvy, I bought the totaltackle.. tt pro 1 man royale, it has two rear zipped/Velcro vents and internal pockets on both sides for your keys, sounder box etc and additional 2 rear rod straps for your spod and marker rods . I also have the winter wrap and practically eliminates the condensation if you keep just one or two quarter panel vents open in the night. I paid 200 for tt pro with winter wrap. Have used it about 5 times now throughout the year, no leaks and stands up well to harsh winds!👍

I was in the same frame of mind with this bivvy and im safe to say this video was the deciding factor and as of today i own one, thanks a lot!:)

Craig I have used it only about 6 or seven times so far, but it has been a good buy. Stays sturdy in strong winds and the peak is good in the rain. Pain in the arse getting it back in the tiny bag it comes with but dries out very quickly and perfect for the summer but still use the double top in winter or on lakes with loads of bugs. Hope that helps

Yes Ashley I do find the condensation an issue. I used it in December as I wanted to fish a tighter swim than my double top would allow and woke up around 3am thinking I had a leak!! it wasn't even cold at around 15 degrees either. I left it open at the front from 7am till I had to pack up at 1pm and it was still sopping inside. I haven't noticed it that much in the summer but always slept with front open.

I have an advanta protector extreme and it has vents at the back, an over sized bed and a mozzy mesh front, you can also unzip the whole front . For the price of only £107.99

do you get bad condensation problems even using the over rap, every time i have used mine i get condensation problems with the rap on its not as bad but still there, apart from that its great
