I live in the Coulterville area...had to evacuate for a few days; I was really lucky to be able to come home...and have home waiting when I got here. All too many others haven't been so lucky.

My people are from all over up there. Mariposa, Coulterville and Greeley Hill. Even Bagby before the dam. A lot of my Miwok kin are buried up in Mariposa. May Coyote look out for the graves of the elders!.

I live in Mariposa and it was miserable. I had to evacuate for many days worrying if my house was burned or not :(
