My close friend has been going through a lot recently, details I'll spare for her privacy of course. And it can be hard for me to just listen sometimes because I'm the type of person who likes to fix problems as efficiently as possible. So instead of telling her what I'd suggest for her to do, I'll ask her what I can do to best support her in that moment. I catch myself responding automatically with advice or suggestions or "you should do this" due to my frustration of her going through a rough time and being unable to help her fix it. So thank you, that message of "just listen" really resonated with me. I'll keep praying for her and supporting her by listening the best that I can. <3

11:32 I love this: let the connections be connections in the moment! In trying develop a community, I keep saying to people I connect with “let’s meet up again!” I should let things be, trust the universe to make things happen.
