Thank you for watching. Make sure to replace your Guibo!

The guibo itself has the relevant directional arrows already present. It's good to use a silver sharpie to make the arrows easier to find/read, but you made the arrows in the opposite direction. Although your arrows were opposite, you correctly kept with that method upon installing the new guibo, so all is well. Just wanted to point out the built-in arrows to others that newly find this video. Great video, too.

I'm dreading doing this on mine. But I think I have to do the center bearing as well. Another awesome video bro. Short and to the point.

For us in the North, be a good idea to have another exhaust clamp handy. My bolt fell the hell apart when removing it. As for the rest it went as well as it did in your video. Thank you

On my 2018 you also need 8mm and 10mm sockets for some of the shields.
You also don’t need to remove the exhaust, hang it down and bend the heat shield down and out of the way.
Finally, agree you should grab spare exhaust bolts. Or muscle off the rubber.

Thanks again for your helpful video on repairing common faults on the G30 Thankfully most of what you have shown also goes with the uk 530d's so helpful to so many of us.👏🙌😊

Great video. I've just been quoted £800 at the stealers for that job. Given that it's a £80 part and 2 hours work, £800 seems a little high.

You are such a useful channel for us G30/G31 owners. thanks a lot!!!! Perhaps if you have time, would be great to post a video about the subject of remapping. I have a 530d xdrive G31. Just hit 100K km, thinking to remap it. There are different opinions out there, whether remapping causes accellerated wear etc. thanks

Great vid! Just fyi, my 2016 LCI 328xdrive f30 did NOT have a flex disc at all. Different design. Confirmed this mused and with 2 mechanics.

Great video. You made it so simple. I guess when you are good you are good.
What ate symptoms of a broken flex disk. Mine makes clunking sound underneath the car...

FBOG sir, experienced this clunking in the middle centre turn on steering? Some says to tighten the one bolt below the power steering motor! Any help much appreciated...

Im at 96k miles. First started getting symptoms at around 90k miles but I threw it off to the new wheels I had gotten so never took a look at it driving around like that with multiple launches took its toll on this and also my center support bearing hoping getting both of these replaced helps mitigate the nasty vibration I get at 80ish mph when I have my lightweight wheels on.
