I just noticed a pattern with how everyone (including the government) is treating the Ukraine War and how the Vietnam war was treated similarly. The constant "You must be a Putin lover" rhetoric and all that for simply not wanting to be involved in a war that we really have no stake in to begin with is very reminiscent to the red scare. Also, the disgusting racist bile that I've seen spewing out of people's mouths towards Russian people have been awful, and coincidentally comparable to what happened to Asian people during and after the Vietnam war. I just don't understand how the liberals of yesteryear were so anti-war and how they changed into awful war-mongering, well, for lack of better term, jerks.
