Thank you for reading that verse. Very beautiful. We need to have healthy boundaries I'm the oldest of 5. I grew up with generational abuse and violence . It affected every area of my life. Your message is confirmation that he's healing me and it's a miracle that he lives in our hearts and the fruit of the Spirit resides in me. He's healing me from anxiety and autoimmune disorders caused from abuse. This message gave me confidence that I need to surrender and accept that there's Enstrangement and abandonment and betrayal trauma within the entire family. There are addictions, covert and overt abuse and I have set strong boundaries . I will not continue allowing any form of abuse in my life. You are right it affects your central nervous system . I never married, nor have children, I was in a relationship, filled with deception and lies and abuse. He died 2 years ago. The abuse caused isolation and trauma bonding. In his early retirement, he told me to surrender and I did not let him go. I was dragged. I was coedependent. The emotional and financial abuse kept me going back and believing more lies. He died 2 years ago. God is good and he is the great physician. He is healing me in his perfect timing. When we don't listen to the Lord .... We hurt the holy Spirit that resides in our heart . He is always interceding on our behalf . I've encountered so much abuse . It takes a while to heal and trust again. Thank you for reading that passage. God hates abuse. We are God's children . We are not for using or abusing . There is an escalation of abuse ( men and women) More pastors need to not keep abuse hush hush. In most churches, there's still a code of silence.. It's not only physical abuse ( overt) but there's covert abuse, ( emotional physiological, verbal, sexual, and financial abuse) The longer you stay in an abusive relationship , the more damage that occurs.
