9 bucks for just the burger, no value meal? That's insane. I haven't been to a fast-food place in a long time but I remember when the entire whopper value meal which included fries and a drink was like 5 or 6 bucks.

I used to enjoy the BK lounge every once in a while, but the service is beyond horrible these days. (Basically at all fat food places) I know it's not the worlds greatest job, but you are getting paid to be there. If you do not like it... find something else. The food seems to have gone down hill as well, and does not even come close to what their promotional images look like. Buns are too big. Burgers are too small, lettuce is primarily just cores, since all the leaf lettuce goes to Chick-Fil-A! Oh, and if you are going to spend 10 bucks for a burger... go to Chillies! There you will get a burger, fries, drink, and endless chips and salsa!

Wow, that's actually ridiculous. I just checked what a whopper costs at my local BK here in Canada and it's 9.03 CDN after tax (13%), which would be 6.65 USD
