WWE Want To Re-Sign FTR | Former NXT Champion Spotted At Performance Center

WWE reportedly want FTR back in the company as their AEW deals look close to expiring. A former NXT Champion was spotted at the WWE Performance Center this week. WWE have released a patch for WWE 2K22. Plus there are more name changes and possible call-ups for multiple NXT stars.

Johnny has said numerous times on his twitch stream, that he still has a very good relationship with WWE and has been there a few times since he left. He and Candice even mentioned stopping there on the way to the hospital. I think he will eventually be back, he's just enjoying being a dad at the moment.

AEW's deep, competitive roster along with the freedom to wrestle tag teams in other companies? AND being managed by Bret Hart?! FTR is living their dream. No way they're going back to a promotion that made them miserable and bitter- I know; "never say never"... but c'mon.

WWE reminds me of that one kid in pre school. Everytime they have a toy they don't like they toss it aside and then someone else gets that toy and enjoys its. Then they want that toy back.

WWE took them for granted and made them look like jokes for a majority of their non-NXT time there. But now that AEW saw their worth and have been on the run of their career these past few months (putting on classics against The Briscoes, Lucha Bros, Young Bucks, etc) WWE wants to ride their coattails? Does WWE even have more than four Tag Teams on the main roster?

It really amazes me how wwe will have had guys like FTR or even Cody Rhodes and not utilize them to their full potential in the early parts of their careers, They go somewhere else like aew where they have alot more creative freedom, Blow up and get over and become big and then wwe comes knocking like hey we want you back and then run the risk of Vince dumbing down their characters for the wwe audicene, FTR im pretty sure would not be dumb enough go back, Part of the reason im sure cody went back was he was smart about it in his contract he made sure he kept all his aew persona and music and im pretty sure he also has enough creative control in his contract too if wwe wants to a pull an Elias/Ezekiel curveball on him he can tell the writers to piss

Vince books tag teams like a bipolar man child though. They've got all the talent in the world, but Vince will go sour if he doesn't feel the powah. That or he might just forget all about them. He's like Monty Burns who hired that kid that went through a rough life because he saw some special documentary on TV. Then when they hire them he's like "who TF is this"?

I remember one time turning on the TV to watch WWE. When I switched to the channel, the first thing that pops up is FTR being made fun of after the Usos put itching powder in their jocks or something. After that, I turned it off immediately.
