I love that your style has both really melodic and funky elements and they manage to compliment each other really well

I've said it before and i'll say it again. YOU are the reason I decided to pick up my bass again after 10years of not playing. Truly an inspiration, thank you!

The solo was lit and so was the bass
Even after 3 years of watching this channel i still find it hard to comprehend how all of this is possible on a bass

As someone who's played bass for 20 years, and fancied myself pretty good and creative with it I can say with an absolute certainty after just watching a few of your videos that this is some of the most impressive, creative, and technically proficient and astounding music I've ever heard. Truly incredible man well done

Another incredible solo! Have you ever considered scoring video games? Your composition style feels like it would lend itself to that type of content. Either way, keep up the good work!

One of your best performances. Love the groove. Less than three minutes is not enough for this composition.

Damn this guy is simply the future of bass.

Dude… this is unreal! It’s not the speed, it’s the precision, the groove, and the voicing AT speed. There’s lots of great bass players out there, but this is like nothing I’ve ever seen!

It's amazing. You and those of your ilk have successfully turned the electric bass into a whole new and vibrant instrument. Kudos. I love what you're doing. I'm a 72 year old guitarist and bass player trained in the mid to late 60s and patterned my style similar to Tim Bogert, Jack Cassidy and Jack Bruce. Shortly after that I transitioned to jazz listening to Oscar Pettiford, Ron Carter and Ray Brown. What you do is incredible.

I honestly love how your style is developing, clean/ drop d/ funk inspired. Honestly it would be a dream to jam with you haha.

This is what dedicated disipline and seemingly endless ''Hard Work'' leads to: ''Becoming Better than the Master.'' - Greatness!

That's a very cool base. It's crazy though, how fast you overshadowed it.
I'm never fully prepared for the level of musicality when I click on your videos. I think I am, but I'm not. I literally raise my expectations preemptively and they still get shattered.
Thanks for sharing your creations.

i would absolutely buy a album filled with those about 2 minutes long songs that you play along to, that would be so nice!

You son, have this seemingly bottomless bag of tricks and licks that you come up with every time you play. It is truly a marvel to watch and listen to your creations.

Charles must be the best bass players of this era. I haven't seen (or listen to) someone more spectacular and talented than him.
