This Is What A RECESSION Looks Like IN THE CAR MARKET

My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

Thanks for watching and please feel free to leave any comments you may have in the section below!

The new car dealers enjoyed the party.
Now they can deal with the hangover.

One reason why your car lot is empty is because you are a good dealer. You fix the cars you buy. Good reputation in your area.

As someone that has been in the car business my entire life, Im 43. This guy's content is phenomenal. Truly honest behind the scenes look. Great Job! The 5k niche and under is actually helping folks and you are servicing a niche that is problematic to say the least and your'e successful. Spot on and great job!

Last month, I flew to Texas to buy a rust free 10 year old truck and drove it back to the rust belt. Coworkers think I am crazy for doing that. Nope, I got a rust free truck I am going to drive for the next 10 years for $8k. Well worth the $300 plane ticket, $300 in fuel and the 2 days to get home

I’ve been driving the same vehicle daily for 12+ years. I’m in the process of “restoring” it now. It’s still worth about 50% of what I paid. I was almost ready to upgrade in 2020… If you take care of your stuff and it will take care of you. Try to wait this out, and don’t spend money you don’t have or can’t afford.

Always remember, comparison is the thief of joy. Your only opponent is YOU.

Even though I have the money to buy a new car I just won’t. Worst investment I could make. All my friends have 100k cars and are upside down 30-40k right now but all they care about is looking “rich”. Best part about buying my shit boxes and driving them for 2-3 years without payments is they never want me to drive when we go out 😂. Save on payments and gas.

Don't forget that charger might be 20% under MSRP, but it's still marked up $30, 000 over MSRP then it was 4 years ago so there's no savings

Never had a car payment until I was 31 years old and had a phenomenal job. Paid it off in 20 months. That was when I got a new Acura for 12, 500 and 235 dollar car payment for 3 years. Kept it for 16 years. My husband’s cars have all been used paid in cash. Car payments seem scary. You are providing a great service.

We're headed the way of Cuba... Keeping 60 or 70 yr old cars running until they literally disappear into dust.

Brandon. When their situation is better. They still need to buy from you and be smart with their money.

Cash cars always work, it’s only the type of customer is changing.

You are really doing a good thing by providing such an affortable price point. More people are going to need it from here on out.

I learned something from a finance channel I follow: "The Three P's"

- Positive
- Professional
- Polite

Brandon has this nailed, and if you compare to other channels you instantly understand the appeal.

"The Three P's plus T" - Transparency, fair dealing.

Brandon for President. I don't know his political affiliation but he comes across as rational also, and we desperately need these attributes in leadership.

I daily drive my 77 F100 with a 300 inline six, and dont care what anyone else thinks. My truck has been restored and has everything I need in a vehicle. I bought it in 1997 and have had a lot of good memories. Friends of mine have went through a 6-10 vehicles while im still cruising with no car payments

I have never bought a new car! Lots like yours are my bread and butter! I won’t be able to afford mods if I buy new. Cars that are in lots like yours have tons of aftermarket support to increase power, add longevity and efficiency. And I hate car payments!

Ones who overpaid like before should never go near any car lot, they are over their heads tying to buy a car.
