It surprises me that people has difficulties with the plane, to me it feels extremely easy to trim and hand fly. I had never flown so much by hand, it just flies so well!

Another great video providing a priceless nugget of info. I need all the help I can get with this bird. Its like landing a space shuttle on an aircraft carrier.

Can you also show how to trim when on approach to runway that would be helpful ty

According to the manual blip trim should work in both directions, but I noticed during my tests that it would sync the trim reference speed to the current airspeed only if we tap the trim in the direction which would get the trim reference speed closer to the current air speed (e.g. if we fly slower than the TRS it will sync only if we tap up the trim). Not sure if it’s a bug.

Emi I feel the biggest issue people have is trying to fly the trim instead of flying and using the trim as an additive to ease pressure needed

I'm at Paine field watching the 777X land. Can't wait ❤

Very interesting. But if blip trim is not documented, then how do pilots learn about its advantages? Is it hearsay? 😕

That's interesting Emanuel, I 'm gonna try it . 👍

What is the axis name for the trim because the normal one isn’t working for me

Emi, I recently had the occasion to be on the jump seat of a 777 and I was literally shocked to see how minimal the inputs are on the real thing. The PMDG 777 yoke literally travels twice the distance of the real yoke to rotate. Why is that?

05:00 when setting take off thrust, a blue commanded N1 is displayed on the PMDG N1 gauge. It’s note there in the real 777, it just stayes white. The commanded N1 also stopps at the calculated take off thrust N1 and doesn’t go all the way up to the maximum N1 line, as the blue one does here. Is this a kind of a bug in the PMDG, or any SIM feature?

Emi, who is this Janette woman in the comments who is obsessed with you? She even speaks German. 🤣😂

@A330Driver could you please share your aircraft fuel + payload loadings ?

Does the blip trim require the elevator deflection in the direction you are blipping, or will the trim safety disallow trimming if you are not pulling in the direction you are trimming ? As you said, one shouldn't fly with trim alone but im wondering system wise ?

How did you get the MTOW and MLW Placards by the ISFD? Very useful when Loading up quickly. Is it just that livery?

I understand it is incomparable with PMDG, but have you tried the Horizon sim 787-9? I wonder if the trim is accurate there. Could you check it please as real life pilot please? First of all the trim the aircraft calculates on the ground is usually between 4-5 it shows in the outside view value of -40 or -50 trim - in my opinion this is wrong - I always counter that by setting it to "my trim" which is 6.5-7 - then the outside view instruments shows -18 to -22 % of trim. With the trim original (calculated) value the aircraft climbs really rapidly and at some point the trim is so "strong" that even full forward pressure wont level up the aircraft. I fixed this my setting it to the 6.5-7 trim value like I said, but after take off if I just hit the trim up or down it seems that it resets to the calculated trim and the aircraft climbs rapidly. I'm 100 % sure it is wrong, but unfortunately I'm not real pilot to be able to confirm. So if you have time. Could you take a look please at horizon sim 787-9 and do one take off and tell me if it is completely broken or accurate? Thanks.

I'm trying it right now as I'm typing this coment. No matter what I do, the airplane is not smooth at all. I have to apply yoke pressure to make the blip trim work and sometimes the airplane does the opposite of what I'm comanding on the yoke. I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong. ☹

Emanuel I would like you to go to accessibility settings and turn on the screen narration. Once that is complete go to your pmdg aircraft and enter curser mode. Then you will see the issue I am having with all products for MSFS from pmdg.

I may be a bit slow, but I still don't really understand how speed trim works, even after watching this. Air speed is a factor of both pitch AND thrust, but the stabiliser only affects pitch, so what is "speed trim" doing that's different to standard elevator pitch trim? Does it have any control over the thrust setting? What happens when you change your thrust setting? Or does it perhaps take the current thrust setting into account and make corrections if the thrust changes? Is it performing some kind of clever calculations beyond what a basic pitch trim does? Let's say I am established on final. I turn the autopilot off and the plane is stabilised. I then feel that I am getting low on the glidepath, so I add thrust. Is the the speed trim going to react to this by pitching the nose up to maintain the same speed? That would be a clear difference from basic pitch trim which would do nothing unless you physically move the wheel/buttons.

Hello, I have a question about the B77W, I have such a problem after the last update, TIRE PRESS started to appear, it happens to me every time I fly, could you advise me or someone in the comments how to fix it, if it is possible or if it is a bug. Thanks
