sc400 headers exhaust xpipe sound compilation

heres a bunch of clips i pieced together to give an idea of what the hurricane long tube headers sound like paired to an x-pipe and hks hi-power rep mufflers that needed to be modified to fit under the sc chassis. it's a 2.5" piping from headers and all the way back. it has completely changed the exhaust tone and the behavior. by far the best mods you can do for noticeable gains. the vehicle is a 98 sc400 vvti 1uz with a 5sp auto a650e transmission.

Damn thats perfect! Just got my X pipe for my 2v pi 5.4 with 3” duals and thrush 2 chamber welded mufflers. Excited to throw it on after work! Hopefully it’ll sound half as good as this thing

Hi John, love the channel, I just subbed. I have some questions about the exhaust, some of the old forums are saying the Hurricane headers are very difficult to install, that they take many hours (about 7) and the engine needs to be lifted or tilted, was this the case when you installed them?
