As a fan of cracked ice acrylics, blind piston caps, and flex nibs, this new version just ticks all the right boxes for me. Thanks for constantly improving your designs rather than just sitting on your laurels like many other companies do!

I just ordered this pen because of you and this review. I also ordered a plastic broad nib unit so i can swap it when I carry it in my shirt collar along with my old man reading glasses 🤓.

I support what you're doing. You turned your enthusiasm for FP in to a passion/business. That's awesome.

I also read how you really listen to customers and back your product if there's a problem.

You don't see that customer service anymore.

So thank you.

I really hope i fall in love with your pen.

I'm only 3 months into collecting and have 30 plus pens already.

My only disappointment was that the hebine ink bottle was sold out. I went with the Diamine shimmer instead.

Be blessed and thank you again for what you do for the fountain pen newbies like me.😊

I purchased the new Jaipur ultra flex nib pen in brown ebonite. It is so easy to fill wilt ink and when I write the pen just glides along the paper. When I press down just a tiny bit the nib spreads open to release a smooth looking larger line that I wanted. This pen is awesome and easy to use. Id recommend it to anyone that likes to have easy cool writing and if I had to grade it, I would give it a A+!

AWESOME - I have been happy with my purchases from you in the past, and although I had declared a moratorium on buying pens for a while, I will be ordering the new ebonite one tonight!!!

Happy to see someone giving life back to Indian fountain pens. I have been writing in fountain pen since I was 10 years old(I'm turning 40 next ween and my husband is looking to order a pen for me).Ended up in fpr website when I searched for traditional eyedropper fountain pen.

I really hope either the first Jaipur V2 pen you sent or the second make it to Australia soon - one is in Jamaica New York, the other is near JFK Airport. I’m tracking them on the SHOP app.

These pens will be the new-age vintage pens.
In another 50-80 years people will be looking for an "Ebonite FPR Ultra-Flex Jaipur V3" (see what I did there) for their vintage collection.

Just picked up the matte black today. Got the Flex nib, not the Ultra. Writes really nicely. Looks OK, but the the tapered bottom isn't really for me. The tapered-end cap also doesn't quite sit perfectly flush. The chrome ring on the cap has FPR engraved on it, but it does cheapen it a bit, imo. Could be the font, but it could be also that the name itself turns me off. Even "Revolution" would have been better. Anyhow, the important thing is that it writes wonderfully, and that's all that matters atm. Will likely purchase another if it stands the durability test. Hopefully, the pen is perfected over the next couple years.

Was hoping you'd discuss what features the V2 has to protect against ink evaporation. e.g. slip & seal inside the cap, etc. I won't buy a pen these days unless I know what steps are taken, if any, to seal the nib when not in use.

I'd love to see a reviewer have a go with a gold for nib

Boy, this is a *huge* jump up in appearance and quality - can't wait to try one! You planning to keep the V1 as a separate sale item?

Kevin, are you the Ackerman pens guy, also?

is the nib unit standard?
the colors look so pretty for this pen but they're also way pricier :O
but for some reason I LOVE built-in piston converters and don't like converters :D it's not that I run out of ink fast (i don't write with the same pen too much) it's just.. weird... I don't like them!

I've recently bought 1 and it doesn't seem to write which upsets me. I've heat set the nib multiple times, to no success. Help would be appreciated
