How good is Martin Barre! A subtle genius.

Another example of why Barriemore Barlow was and still is one of rock's premier drummer/percussionists!

One of my fave Anderson songs is One Brown Mouse. Saw JT live 21 times. They NEVER disappoint. Anderson & company are ALWAYS PERFECT live.

Always loved this very special little song.... and now, when it's just me and my beautiful, loyal and mischievous 6 month old Goldador 'Findlay' taking our daily walk alone through the beautiful cornfields in the fresh air of the English countryside where we live down in the South West, its the song that plays constantly in my head... Findlay is my Rover and I love him to bits... walking with him is like a glimpse of heaven... perfect moments in an imperfect world....

Tull is/was one of the all-time royalty, standing proudly, shoulder-to-shoulder with the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Yes, King Crimson, Genesis, Traffic, UFO, Floyd, Deep purple, Zeppelin, Sabbath, AC/DC, Rush & Judas Priest.

Anderson is not only a musical genius, but an animal rights activist. Love all the beautiful dogs featured in this video.

I'd forgotten. "I'm simple in my sadness. Resourceful in remorse." Gorgeous.

I remember seeing a comment
on here for another Tull song.
This person said “ Why is Tulls
music so complex?”
My reply “ it’s the complex that
made it great”

Heavy Horses - the first Tull album I bought and now my favourite album of all time. I heard this song on the radio and i thought, I gotta have that song. First time i listened to the album i just wondered, "What is THIS I've bought?" Gave it 2 more listens and I've never fell out of love with it ever since. (My wife, daughter and every girlfriend I ever had since that time HATES it!)

A great song from a great group that isn't in the rock and roll hall of fame and according to Ian Anderson he has no desire to

Ian Anderson is a genius. One of the unfortunate side-effects of his genius is that it has overshadowed the priceless musicianship of the other Tull members like Clive Bunker, Glenn Cornick, Barriemore Barlow, Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond, John Glascock, John Evan, and Martin Barre, without whom Tull would have been eviscerated. The golden age of Tull was from the release of Aqualung through to Crest of a Knave. Both Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull as a band have never got the credit and kudos they deserve - outside of the worldwide Tull fan club - because their music and lyrics are top-drawer, and require intellectual effort on the part of the listener. It is the opposite of the bubble-gum, throwaway, mind-numbing "pop" music of the polluted "mainstream." Keep the faith Tull fans. We are the custodians of a superlative musical heritage. Like all the most famous geniuses, Ian Anderson will probably only get his full due and appreciation when he's dead.

Fantastic imagery for that wondrous song, Dan. Made my eyes well up joyfully. Thanks.
