This is my second Victorinox watch, the other being a similar, but smaller one with a quartz movement. This one is slightly bigger and has a black, not white, face.

I really like this watch. It has the tried and trusted ETA 2824-2 Swiss movement which, so far, has proved to be pretty accurate and well within specs for this particular type. The case is well made and heavy, with a saphire crystal glass and see through back, so you can see the movement. The strap is also heavy, with solid, not hollow links like some cheaper watches. It fits me well, which is nice as I have large wrists. If you have a smaller wrist circumference, you may have to remove some links. This should not be too difficult to do yourself, or you could have it done by a jeweler for little cost.

The dial is not really black, but a very dark grey. It is also embossed in such a way that in certain lights a kind of holographic sheen is produced. Difficult to explain, but it can detract from an otherwise very easy to read and uncluttered face. The crown is easy to handle, but does not screw in, which would have been nice. The lume on the hands and at the hour marks is also pretty good.

One thing to consider is that, although all the paperwork is included, apparently Victorinox do not accept Amazon purchases in their warrantee. You are covered by Amazon's own however.

Overall, this is an excellent watch and at this price, [about £350 under RRP] is an absolute steal. I recommend it if you are looking for a nice looking, good quality and very well made Swiss automatic.
