As an Ant keeper watching this it is literally brutal with his knowledge. This is not a hate comment I just found it funny that man is literally putting food and water in their every single day. You are not supposed to water it every day otherwise they will drown, and if you feed them too much, there will be wasted food which will grow mold and just other bacterias.

I have never owned ants nor plan to own ants, but your negligence to owning ants is honestly hilarious. In case you ever think about getting ants again (please don't) there are a few things you need to study up on beforehand. Ants are extremely small, but they require a lot of space. The ant farm you had was too little space. Ants also can not repopulate without a queen, so the ants in the corner there had given up as they were close to the end of their life. Ants also do not require food or water every single day, they store food in their abdomen until its digested and they can eat more, same with water. Lastly, you needed to stop moving their soil. These are carpenter ants meaning they're one of many species that dig, however carpenter ants usually prefer soft wood to bury into.

The internet is so pathetic and sad these days people are giving him constructive criticism, not being hateful at all and actually being so nice considering he just killed a bunch of ants on camera for the likes and views he knew he’d get, yet people are still so scared of being attacked or coming across as mean that they’re having to censor their comments and say no hate or I’m not trying to be mean when they’re really being so helpful !

You shouldn’t do that it can cause the species to become invasive and harm wildlife of all sizes even ones that don’t have anything to do with ants please be mindful when doing things like this. Thank you ❤
