Christina Ricci lists some of the many reasons people are drawn to Wednesday, the character she played in “The Addams Family” films, who is now played by Jenna Ortega in the hit Netflix series. Season two of Christina’s other hit series, “Yellowjackets,” premieres Friday, March 24th on Showtime.

I'd already fallen in love with her acting talent since I was a kid, but the first time I saw "Mermaids" I was an adult and I was shocked by how good she was at such a young age! She blew veteran actors all the way off the screen in her scenes. Such a talented actor.

The story about Cher is great, & an important illustration of the fact that many children, of various ages, often tend to assume they are the fault or cause of problems. If you've ever told your kids that you can't afford certain things, even for a period of time, many kids will internalize that, & worry about the cost of things, or offer their own money to help the family. Its a really important thing to understand, trouble between parents, a sibling who struggles, all kinds of issues will affect kids that way.
