Welcome to a super interesting game known as Suck Up! In this game, we play the role of a vampire and have to actually speak through our mic to our AI neighbors and convince them to let us enter their houses. And yes, they literally respond to EVERYTHING you say.

Now THIS is a positive use of AI in gaming. A really good concept past the point of "what you're hiding from can hear you" that's been used in other games. Ryan, you also could've impersonated the officer! You had a chance right when he turned around.

Omg, this is such a fun and unique concept for a game! With the rise in more intelligent ai in, what feels like, just the last year this is such a positive and fun way to use it! I love the idea that one day we'll actually be able to simply *talk* to npc and companion characters in game instead of always picking from a set list of interactions. Like, especially if you were playing some of those games in vr? The level of immersion would be incredible! This game actually gets me so excited to see what the future of video games have in store for us!

Surprising that a mic system is this good in a game

I was watching Proofesure play this game, and he beat almost all of the houses by carrying a wet floor sign and asking if it was the neighbors. and then he expressed his concerns with safety in the neighborhood which was enough for him to get in. It worked with the Karen neighbor because she is like in charge of the neighborhood watch or something like that, and it also worked for the man in the butterfly wings because he loves safety. It would be interesting to see if you could get those same reactions or if the AI is randomized with items

I thought of a game concept, like lethal company, but with ai. You communicate with your friend over mic and the ai listen and learns the way you interact. After some time the Ai answers instead of your friend and convinces you to do something. I know this is not possible today, but maybe in a few years

I always love a game that utilizes you actually talking and having AI responses. It’s not always perfect, but it can lead to some pretty fun moments.

I remember playing Origins, which is a tech demo for that kind of gameplay, and after I was done with the initial game, I went around just talking out my butt to people. I asked a civilian “do you like your chicken with or without the bone?”

“Uhh…I’m sorry, are you referring to chicken wings? There was an explosion here recently and I think we should focus on that.”

“With or without the bone…?”

“Fine…I like my chicken wings without the bone…”
