Allot of ppl don’t realize not everyone plays my career, so learning no shot meter with a full team of players with different shots can be difficult

i’ve always used shot meter, but this year the meters are so bad 🤦🏽‍♂️ just give us the same meters from 2K24

Rather than "freezing" when you release the shot button, all of the meters animate from beginning to end, in sync with the ideal time to release the button. Think of it more as a timeline of the shot animation rather than a traditional meter.
The ideal time to release the button is the exact frame the meter disappears from your screen.
It'll make more sense when you try it. One of the main benefits of this change is that shot meters are much more accurate online, so you no longer need to compensate for latency when you're shooting shots, layups, or free throws online.

So hard to shoot on 'play now', im a casual i only play MC or playnow i dont sweat at parks/recs. The arrows inconsistent and if i turn it off, idk the different timings of jumpshots of different players.

Give me curve bar side back, or at least the comet. I'll take anything beside this arrow.

The meter is so bad this year that I switched to no meter. Timing is pretty easy to get down, not sure why I didn’t turn off sooner
