Every year I head to the Metropolitan Museum Of Art to see the latest Met Gala's fashion art exhibition. This year it is the Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcons Art Of The In- Between. The pieces showcased by Designer Rei Kawakubo reveals her style of designing conventional notions of beauty and disrupts accepted characteristics of the fashionable body. As a Fashion Designer, it is good to go visit these art exhibitions to take a look at another perceptive vision of creativity, craftsmanship and details. Its a must see.

I saw the exhibition, you captured it beautifully. A designer or even a home sewer can find tons of inspiration from looking at the pieces in the exhibits.

You know what's funny these are creative and stunning but if you brought these types of garments to competition at London fashion week there quick to tell you we need items that are produced had not handmade need manufacturer which is painful has beauty also comes from handmade. I really don't know what London fashion is all about is money and that not what the women who invented it wanted it for before she died
