Thank you First Responders..doing the work that others deny is happening. So demoralizing but each person in that desperate situation will never forget your assistance.

It's sad that the same people saying FEMA isn't doing it's job are the same people that want FEMA to not exist...

I've worked on the crews that come from all eastern & Midwestern states to help restore power after a hurricane and trust me, it takes weeks to finally repair the all of power grid in the least of the hurricane events. This hurricane was a bad one.

These crews are literally working their arses off, with minimal sleep, in horrible conditions, to get the job done quickly and done right.

All this criticizing of the government for not instantly and magically solving the all of tens of thousands of difficult problems spread all over multiple states, with a just wave of their wand is a load of ignorant BS uploaded for personal political selfishness.

Peddling misinformation after a natural disaster is a pinnacle of irresponsibility. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

My heart is crushed for the people hit by Helene and now we have Milton coming. How on earth could a person use these tragedies for selfishness? Such a special kind of evil.

Trump doesn't care about insulting first responders or putting people at risk by convincing them there's no help available. Just like Trump insults Veterans, Military personnel, Capitol Police officers, Doctors & medical staff he claims are "aborting" babies after they're born.. If trashing them serves him, then he'll trash them, and it's disgusting!!! Please please VOTE BLUE 💙

As a veteran I'm finding it pretty pathetic that one man is poisoning the blood of this country with the help of low life losers.

Nearly 2, 111 people are now housed in hotels through FEMA’s Transitional Sheltering Assistance. Federal partners have delivered more than 9.36 million liters of water and more than 7.06 million meals in North Carolina to support both responders and people living in the affected communities." - Gov. Cooper press release, Oct. 7, 2024 EDIT: Nov. to Oct. Doh!

What people need to understand is this is what the former President does and will do if he gets back into office. For him it isn’t about the response of others or even about the storms themselves. It is about him and all the attention he wants to focus on himself. He showed us it was all about him when he made people in Valdosta, Georgia build that podium for him out of bricks they had to gather for from the destroyed building. He won’t stop making it all about him. I remember when he used a sharpie to draw in areas where he said the hurricane was going. He will make storm relief contingent on how deferential the areas affected are to him. The warning is clear. I just hope people look at what he is doing now to make the media talk about him to the detriment of all storm victims present and future.

Why doesn't Trump and his family go to North Carolina and help the people instead of flapping his big mouth.
