This was an excellent movie, I was truly terrified and that means it was a damn good movie. You can tell by the behind the scenes that the passion in making this movie was there, they were all in good spirits which makes for a good movie.

Glad they had fun. Would be scary if they didn't.

The gore in this movie was genuinely so upsetting. It was so creative and just really elevated the body horror.

Not only a great addition to the Evil Dead franchise but one of the better horror movies released in recent years. Still, like the rest of the series, it was more gory than scary.

I laughed out loud in couple scenes, but for a good reason. Never did the movie slow down, it kept going and going and I was glued to the screen. The gore felt real, not cgi that was refreshing and felt more horrifying because of it. 10/10 horror movie

Quality horror with a pinch of humor - Sam Raimi style

I went to see it a couple of weeks ago. I had no idea what I was walking into but I knew about quarter of the movie in that it's going to be one to remember. Everything was right about it, the cast, the mood, the progression and how the story unfolded. They couldn't have picked a better actress to play the mother, whoever casted Alyssa Sutherland is a genius.

I’m addicted to this stuff. Got extra excited when they mentioned Lovecraft and sequels be more frequent.

70 year-old male here. I had not gone to the cinemas in years, but made an exception for this movie. I was not disappointed! The story reminded me of the original where you had five people put in that cabin and then Sam Rami threw everything but the kitchen sink at them! Alyssa Sutherland is a superstar as far as I'm concerned. You could tell they all enjoyed making this movie. The comradery really shown through. Kudos to all involved!

It's always joyful when the cast and crew state they had fun making a movie. Alyssa Sutherland was without a doubt a gem as Ellie! 😂🩸

I hope they add these moments on the up-coming 4K/Blu ray. My favorite moments are then they're dancing or singing.

Dang, Alyssa Sutherland went from Viking Queen Auslaug to Demon-possessed Ellie and holy heck is that a complete 180 in role types! 😮 I actually loved this movie, I thought they did an excellent job staying true to the Evil Dead formula, with a fresh but believable storyline, save a few things here and there. I can handle some gore, but there were times in this movie where I got squeamish and had to turn away.
Grated cheese, anyone?

I thought I saw a stop motion effect at one point in the movie. Felt like a Sam Raimi nod.
