Cutting stickers to make them appropriate for my students!

Using my infamous “Sticker Store,” I give out 1000s of stickers per school year to my middle school math students! Featured in this video are the stickers that don’t make the “cut” and have to be fixed before they can be given to students!

I give my students 1000s of appropriate stickers every school year (4th-8th grade)! I buy mixed packs off of Amazon that always have a few inappropriate stickers. I originally started making these videos to bring awareness to other teachers to check their stickers before giving them to students…. But then comments always told me to cut the bad parts off of stickers so they don’t go wasted… and that’s how the cutting stickers series started haha students don’t actually get the cut up stickers unless they want them ❤

Honestly—I think the kids are probably smart enough to know what a lot of these are supposed to be, and I think that increases the fun for them! It makes it feel more taboo (and therefore exciting) because I think everyone knows that you’re not censoring these because you don’t want to know what’s going on (expecting them to be that oblivious), but because you don’t want them or you getting in trouble with the school

It’s about plausible deniability, but you’re doing it in a way that I imagine the kids have a lot of fun with!

LOL the first one reminds me of the time my 5th grade teacher wrote S.H.I.T. on his whiteboard outside of the classroom and underneath it said "So Happy It's Thursday" 💀

You could just keep the bad stickers and put them on something you keep at home. Or you could give them to your friends

Y’all don’t understand- she teaches 4th-8th grade.

1st of all, we might’ve all known this kind of stuff from grade 4 onwards, but the school admins are a lot more strict and the parents nowadays coddle their kids a lot more.

2nd, she’s not doing this because she as an adult can’t handle “no weenies allowed”. She’s doing it because it saves her an annoying and easily preventable conversation with a principal and parent(s) when their 9 year old comes home with a sticker of Betty white flipping the bird.

You could also make packs of inappropriate stickers to send to your adult fans, lol! Pretty sure they’d buy them from you, giving you money to get more sticker packs!
