Pattern Adapted Wavelets for Signal Detection

The purpose of this Pattern Adapted Wavelets for Signal Detection is to show how to use the continuous wavelet
transform (CWT) to detect patterns in signals.

First, we consider a simple detection problem. A signal S(t) is defined.
